Headlight issue: won't go up and down...Reset?
Hey CL...I checked around and saw others are having this same issue I am with the headlights of the IS (and other Lexus cars) not moving up and down anymore when you first turn on the headlights. Mine started last night. Turned on the car, turned on the headlights and no movement. It just pointed down. So I manually adjusted the lights last night and thing are ok for now but I am afraid it will point down again.
I ran across a post online that said you could reset your headlights. You get in your car, turn on the headlights, get out, lock it with your remote, unlock it with your remote and than get in and turn the car on to ACC. I tired this and it did nothing. Anyone else try this to see if it helped? Or anyone else have a more accurate set of instructions on how to reset it?

I noticed the lights on my 2011 IS350 never self level "check" itself during startups.
I wonder if I have to reset them, the dealer did replace my headlights with the updated newest versions.
My wife's RX350 would self check every time you start the car, it goes down, side to side, then up.
