Look and feel. I believe it changes the interior/driver-experience of the car by a lot!

It'll soften up the more you use it. Enjoy!
You are totally correct on the leather, I just recalled after installing the MTECH wheel the leather also wasn't as supple as the OEM wheel but it got softer with time. My initial reaction to the wheel after first installing it was lukewarm, but after spending a couple days with it, I LOVE IT. Grabbing the factory wheel again just feels silly.

I was originally kinda disappointed at first because it wasn't completely thicker all around compared to the stock wheel, but now I really appreciate why it's designed like that. Basically the upper part feels like stock, you know the part where you grab when you drive grandma status. It's comfortable for long distance driving or if you want a stock feel, the 9-3 position gets nice and meaty, for real nice grip when you want to drive enthusiastically. Adjust your grip a little lower and your palm and thumbs rest perfectly with the shape and thats the thickest part, feels WONDERFUL.

This analogy might suck and make sense to only roadies but the new wheel is like using dropbars on a roadbike, you can adjust your grip position for different comfort/performance levels. Changing your position gives you a totally different feel. OEM wheel is like a flatbar on a hybrid commuter.

Overall I'm upgrading this mod rating to a 9.5/10 after spending more time with it. In fact it's giving me an itch to drive the car right now, ahhhh...why can't work be over...is it 5 pm yet?
