My girlfriend purchased a 2011 IS350 FSport with 34k miles for $33,300 out the door. I highly recommend Eddie and Chris at Newport Lexus if anyone is interested in purchasing a Lexus.

I've read a few articles about negotiating the price of a vehicle and generally they said you want to ask what the dealer's REAL selling price is as you are not going to pay sticker. Then you let them say a number so you know you're either offering too much or too low.

Also, when the sales does the common "back and forth" with his manager, feel free to get up and walk around because psychologically, it shows them that you're not going to sit back and let the sales take control of the buying process.

I'm a little puzzled.. I saw a brand new IS250 FSport with a sticker of $45,000.

$32.5 asking and your OTD $30.5 means you are offering approximately $28K right?

No dealer in the Internet age is going to be listing even the comparatively rare 350 on-line
with $4500 mark-up, go to Cars.com/KKB/Edmunds etc and check it out locally.

College Grad is for new ($45K to $51K) not pre-owned

Be sure to stop by the private seller while he's washing his next car and ask for a hot or cold drink while
he's scrubbing yours out...

I donl;t know what others would do but if I get that close 20-30% I would get a new car not a 3 years old car.
I dunno man... with that 8spd I think it made the IS350 slower overall.

Plus the 6spd IS350 has the Bugatti Veyron killing 1st gear ratio.

Ok.. so? This doesn;t mean they'll sell it. they can ask 60k for what I care.

Before anything.. Did you test drive the 3IS?
Look is subjective and yes if you cannot ignore it it's not for you and I agree that 2IS it's one of the best looking sedan out there but the seats in the 3is are amazing.. 2IS has the most uncomfortable seats in any car I've been. The handling of the 3is beat the 3 series for the first time ..not talking about you finally get true pedal shifters and not the jokes we have.

Saw a big misconception here... The recent college grad discount of $1000 can be used towards a used car, but only a CPO.
