Thumbs up Is this a good deal/What is needed for f sport conversion?

Wanted to find a 2011 or 2012 350 F sport, but don't see very many available. So I came across this one-

http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...63480895&Log=0

According to the market/research I've done I think this can be obtain for 26,XXX. What do you guys think?

Also, since I can't find an F-Sport model. If I wanted to do a conversion (as far as looks) is it just the entire front bumper? Or is just a "lip kit." I also noticed the grill is different. Are these readily available? If so, can anyone point out some places that sell them? Not sure if the dealership still has the parts available or would be the most cost effective solution.

Thanks!

You will need a FSport grille, FSport lips and that's it.

If a F-Sport is what you really want, then I would hold off until you find one. Don't settle for something you'll regret later but that's just my opinion.

What companies sell the grille and lips painted/not painted doesn't matter.

I mean if the only difference is are the lips and grille, I would just rather find a non F-Sport. I plan to lower it anyways, so the suspension is not significant to me.

My friend was looking for some on eBay and the classifieds but none ever popped up so he just ordered from Sewell with the CL discount. I say that would be your best bet.

This is correct, Sewell will be your best bet.

If the OP wants an f-sport don't settle for anything less. Be patient and one will pop up. Good luck.

Thanks for the kind words. Is Sewell represented buy a member on here or how do I come in contact with them and have the discount applied?

Sewell is a well known vendor here. You can check them by name here or go to the vendor classifieds or contact them via their website.

As far as f-sport is concerned I have 1 so what lysis250 is missing a bit more.

f-sport grill
f-sport steering wheel with white stitching
f-sport steering ecu (you will feel the difference when you drive one trust me)
Black microfiber and leather bucket seat interior with white stitching (personally this is what got me sold) best comfy bucket seats I have tried, even better than my old ap1 s2k.) and doesn't stick to your skin on those hot and humid days and nights.
f-sport/isf rear lip spoiler
f-sport front lip
f-sport wheels (staggered 18")
suspension is the same as the old sport model (not f-sport) but still much better ride than stock and slightly lower than stock too.

Honestly if you want f-sport wait for one and dont settle (like Initial G said) Good luck

I have F Sport package on 2012 IS250, I smile everyday because the interior just looks damn nicer than the stock one. We got the racing type of black seats that is mixed of leather and microfiber, the sport pedals and the F Sport steering wheels. The F Sport wheels has really nice silver color that also matches perfectly with the interior silver. Exterior front bumper is aggressive and conversion alone can take 1k+ so why not just get the whole package when you have the car. It is well worth it.

Thanks for all the responses!

Just had a couple more questions-

1. I was looking on Sewell's site and they offer both the f-sport grille insert and surround, but they also sell just the insert. Do I need both or can I just get the insert and keep the stock surround?

2. I want to get an f-sport lower intake box and just mate it with the stock top portion, a better filter and intake tube. But I can't seem to find it on the site.

3. How do I contact Sewell to be able to apply the discount? Do I just email them from the site or what is there contact information on here?

1. Just the insert

2. I would suggest getting the whole intake set up

3. Just go on their site and sign up, there will be an option for CL members.
