So far the dealer wont be able to duplicate the problem and they wont fix it.. I talked with the Lexus Assistance They document everything that the start up rattle noise I had also brought up to dealer several years but theydid not fix since they dont hear the rattle. I told them about the TSB EG7027 and they said they have to duplicate to be able to fix it. i guess I have to live with it.. They say if in future if there issue happen offen then Lexus will find way best asssiy on my case.Is it will damage the engine when it past 100k miles? How bad will it cause and whats going to happen so I know what to look for. Thanks

from my understanding if left unchecked, it can potentially kill the motor. when i took my 350 in for the recall version, my friend that works at the dealership told me once they had the motor apart i NEEDED the recall and was getting it right on time. but my car had north of 150k miles at that point as well.

I warm up my car every time and the quickest i ever in hurry was warm up two minutes. Always 2-10 minutes depend on the weather!

10 min warm up? You realize that needless idling is worse on the motor than just starting up and driving normal right? These ain't 1970's cars lol
