Exclamation isx50 trunk

So my friends isx50 has a trunk leak when it
rains the water gets in where the spare tire but
none of the trunk carpet and trunk board get wet
He tried looking for the leak but he cant pin point
where it is coming from so he asked me to post on here
has anyone had this problem my isx50 doesnt leak water into
the trunk where the spare tire is but my friend has a leak in his what
do you guys thing where the leak coming from

Roof drain lines. They connect from the roof to the rear quarter panels. Remove the liners and you should find them there in the trunk. They either came loose, or the lines are blocked. If they came undone at the roof your interior would be wet also.

Okay will look into that but only where the spare tire is its getting puddle of water
like 1/2 cup of water collects where the spare tire is nothing else is getting wet any other suggestion

My suggestion is actually pulling out all of the carpet/boards/spare tire/jack/tools/etc and have your friend get into the trunk with a flash light. Take a hose and start to "wash" it. He should hopefully start to see where the water is leaking in and be able to source where exactly it is coming from.
