Does anyone know what the largest sidewall I can run on the OEM 17's are without rubbing? Car is lowered on tein s-techs (26 inches fender to ground). I need more meat for pothole protection in the winter months.
OEM is 225/45/17. Was wondering maybe 225/50/17 or more if possible?
I run 225/50-17 winter tires. They are fine at stock ride height, I don't know how they would work with your lowering springs.
Thanks for the response. Im guessing 225/50/17 should work if people are already running 20's lowered. @225/50/17 gives a diameter of ~25.6 inches whereas 225/35/20 is 26.2
I run 225/50/17 with OEM wheels on rears for winter. Fronts are 225/45/17. No rubbing and I'm lowered to one finger gap(with my summer wheels) on coils.
