The removal/installation requires you to partially remove the engine under cover to expose the back side of the lamps. Once access is gained, unplug it, unscrew it and remove. Then proceed with adding the LED fog lamp assemblies, screwing them into place and connecting (click) it's pigtail connector. That's seems to be it.

Jeff - just in case you were not already aware, the LED fog lamps do apply to the 2011-2013 IS models. They don't of course install on the previous years given the completely different shaped fog lamps.

Still, they were pretty close to a direct fit, and I've enjoyed having them in the car. Definitely worthwhile.

I was the first person I am aware of to install these in their car last year and they were not a direct fit for the 2011-13 ISx50. The mounting tabs are positioned differently, I outlined what has to be done to get them to fit in my first post of this thread. They are a direct fit for the IS F, not other IS models.

Could you do us a favor by showing what needs to be trimmed, cut in order for them to fit so we won't mess it up and have it done just as neatly as you did? A drawing of some sort would be of tremendous help. Really appreciate it. This will be my next mod

So not terribly hard to modify as long as you have a Dremel. Did you need to remove the front bumper, or did you just remove the fog light surround via the wheel wells?
Thanks!
