Which cat to buy for P0430 Bank 2?
Hi there,
This is my first post on the forums and I was wondering if anyone in the lexus club could help me with a question. I have a 2006 Lexus IS350 that just recently started showing a code P0430. Which is most likely the catalytic converter.
I read that there is a warranty for emission system components, but since the warranty period is for 8years 80k miles, my car just got 80.5k miles. Therefore, I ran out of luck on the warranty front.
I was wondering if there is a cheaper alternative then getting the catalytic converter replaced by lexus for $1600 here in Canada?
I read that ebay once by magna flow has worked well with the lexus cat replacement. Any leads to which product on ebay that might work well with the lex?
Ps its Bank 2 side, which I think is drivers side.
Any help is appreciated.

Thx MaterTech
The emission standard is pretty similar to the states other then California. I have read on catalytic converter vendors that there are two versions of the part, one for US/Canada, and the other for California.
What is the manufacture part number of that said catalytic converter so I can compare it with other makes on ebay?
Appreciate any input.
