Hello all,

Just ordered my "Bronze Burst" F14's 18x8.5 F 18x10 R. Went with the 18's due to sub par driving conditions in NYC. With that in mind I wanted to get some input on what tires I should invest in for these bad boys. I'm going 235/40/18 in the front and 275/35/18 in the rear. If you would, please give me brand, model, and why that tire in particular. I looked at a few on Tire Rack already. I'm not trying to break the bank, but I'm not trying to be cheap either. Although with that said my local tire shop's advice was to: "Get the cheapest tire possible with an A traction rating; because your going to destroy the tires anyway on these streets". Your thoughts please.

Hankook ventus v12. I have the same rims in 19s with these tires and they handle pretty well. Great choice rims. You won't be disappointed.

You might get more feedback if you were to post this in the rim and tire section of the forum.

I put Continental ExtremeContact DW on my F14s and could not be happier. Highly recommend them. Very quiet, ridiculous grip, and excellent traction in wet weather.

Try the hankook v12 there 160 in rebates Visa card if you go threw discounttires.com but sale end tomorrow.

I have Hankook in 19". While they are not the best performer, but very good bang for the bucks nontheless.
