Exclamation Light help!!!

I've gone through 2 HID bulbs on me 07 250, both of them have weird looking beam patterns, the first one has a portion of the light shining on the ground about 10 feet long and 1 foot wide, and the second one has the same, but is much more dim but has lines through the pattern, like horizontal lines that are in the beam.. so weird! Please help, I don't think its the bulbs...what could be wrong!

are you installing these yourself? if so, make sure the bulb is seated against the projector fully and that the ballast wire is connected properly onto the bulb.

I purchased the Phillips OEM replacements D4S for the OEM HID's that came with the car, everything is factory, except for the bulbs of course.

Where did you buy the bulbs?

Be sure all the marks on the bulb is match with the housing. My guess is the bulb not seated properly.

I checked the seating, the bulb is in as far as it can go, but when i put both the clips in, the bulb still jiggles around a little bit, then when i put the ballast connecter back on in locks in and don't think it moves anymore. Maybe the clips are broken and don't hold them in anymore?

If the bulb seated correctly, they won't move at or. Are you sure you have correct bulbs? D2s look identical to d4s
