Rear wheel bearing replacement DIY anyone?
I want to replace my rear wheel bearing, my car makes that waah waah waah noise when I drive and it comes from the rear driver side. The waah waah go faster as the car speed up. I already have my car align, wheels balanced, I even swap the spare in there and the noise still there. From what I see in the pictures, remove the brake caliper. Remove the rotor and the axle nut. The hardest part going to be the axle nut, that I will have to do while the wheels is on and the car is on the ground. I'm planning to use a 3/4 ratchet with long handle bar for leverage. Anyone done this before have any tips? TIA

I replaced mine on my Tacoma 4x4 truck but not on my IS250, I removed the wheel, brake caliper bolts and tied it up, then the dust cap, then i used my air impact wrench to remove the axle nut after removing the carter pin first. You can hold the rotor with pry bar or metal bar in-between the lug studs to keep it from turning if you don't have a impact wrench. I un bolted the bearing hub flange and then had to press the old bearing off and replaced the oil seal, not sure how the Lexus bearings are but removal should be similar.
