06 Lexus is350 spark plugs change..cel
Hey so I just change my spark plugs on 06 Lexus is350 couple days ago after I changed it I got a cel and then vsc and traction light. So I got a buddy that has a scanner scan me the code and its for p0348 camshaft position sensor bank 2 I don't know where that is located. When I change out my driver side spark plug I did unplug 3 sensor. I did everything took off the negative battery reset it and also got my friend to clear the code but it don't go away. I read couple other thread to drive it a couple days but its still on. Also one more thing before I always have this diagnosis screen 1 popping up and cut everything on my car like power steering and navi. If anybody got this problem or resolved it please lmk thanks

I don't know about the Nav issues; but the P0348 code popped up on mine after I did my plugs. Try charging your battery for a few hours, clear the code and then it should stay off. This was the issue with mine... The ECM has a range of voltage for the sensor that is reset to defaults when you unhook the battery for a long enough period of time. If the battery is low, the signal from the sensor can be outside of that default range.

Funny I changed my spark plugs with oem ones and I got the same code. What the heck is that all about. camshaft position sensor A circuit high output. I have a one year old optima battery so i doubt thats the issue.

Yeap double checked all my wires and reopened clicked them bck in, used my obd sensor cant erase the code , unpluged the battery 1 hr car idles rough at start and for a few min while driving no mods what so ever on my car. I did get a misfire in #2 does anyone have a diagram of which plug is 1 through 6? Other odd thing was prior to chaning my plugs white smoke was coming from my exhaust which hasnt happened since changing the plugs maybe i need a new spark plug boot? Any suggestions would be helpful its my daily driver mostly highway and cant exactly get a new car yet work in progress on that. Thank you everyone for any suggestions. I do plan on cleaning off a few sensors i noticed with some oil dirt build up, but this one looks like a doozy.
