Most will recommend Hankook V12s.

I like Hankook too, but could only find the V4s for the fronts and the V12s for the rears locally (225/40/18 and 255/40/18). Not wanting to mix series, I went with the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus when I needed front tires. Really like them so far and plan on buying the matching pair for the rear soon. I bought the front pair online for just under $400 and the rears are right at $240 a piece.

Can't imagine why you'd need all seasons in southern california.... summer tires are superior in all situations above 35 degrees.

And yeah, the Hankook V12 is good bang/buck.

If you want "the best" without regard for dollar then Michelin PSS would be the way to go.

+1 for Hankook V12s. Great tires. Good in rain. Awesome dry grip. They price match at Discount tires. I used a print out from onlinetires.com and save quite a bit per tire. Good luck

Hankook V12s FTW. I have Toyos on my car right now and they are much louder with no discernible performance difference.

Every tire is different. What are you looking for exactly? Better price? Better performance? Better tread life?

Pilot Super Sports! You can get them for $170 for each front tire and $245 for each rear at Costco.
