Default Extended warranty about to expire, what should I get now

I have an 06 IS350 and my extended warranty is up in just a few days. I haven't had any major problems at all with my car but I did have a navigation issue when I first purchased it and with all the electronics i'm worried something may go wrong and don't want to pay an arm and a leg to fix it.

I've read through the warranty threads but see no mention of extending your extended warranty. I know this can't be done through Lexus, but I'm wondering if anyone has any inputs on third party companies for older cars?

I don't for third parties but when you do look keep n mind sometimes you can customize your warranty options for what you want covered.

Unfortunately, I've never seen any 3rd party warranties that covered electronics that was worth the asking price (most were 2x to multiples of drive train coverage).

I would ask your dealership or local mechanic which companies cooperae with them.

Don't bother with a 3rd party warranty. Many of them will give you the run around when you need something repaired and find every loophole possible to try and deny your claim (despite you spending big $$$ to get the coverage). You are better off just saving the money you would have used on that 3rd party warranty and putting it away or something just in case you ever do need it.
