AutoSexy ISF front end conversion inc fenders
Hey guys so i decided to attempt to do the ISF conversion. I'll try to guide you through the process as i address problems with doing the conversion. No it is not a bolt on, yes it will fit if you dont mind chopping and hacking. I dont like the ISF hood so i am going to fab up a fender to work with x50 hood. The front fenders are about 2" longer than x50 fenders and there is a 1" gap from hood to fender when you bolt on the fender using the rear part of the fender and bottom bolts. Here are a couple pics and i will update through the next couple months cause im a broke *** and need to piece it together still. Here is a the cost breakdown of parts involved
OEM ISF front bumper (used0-$100
Fog lights(new)-$129
Lower grill(new)-$19.99
Upper grill(new)-$167
fog light cover each(new)-$29
passenger side rocker(used)-$244.99
Driver side rocker (new)-$239.47
Fender badge(new)-$55.86

L.duct brake(new-$79.58
R.duct brake(new)-$37.99
Fender each (used)-$179.99
Paint-$600

Time and joy into doing something custom-$priceless

I know it's a rough mockup, but does the bumper for more snug to the front end than your pictures show? I've seen others throw an oem F bumper on and the only areas that needed work was the sides since its wider than stock bumper.
Otherwise, glad to see something different posted in here!

With the bumper on when i had stock fenders it fit up really well and even lined up with the factory retaining tabs on the sides, Its the edge of the bumper that is wider which im trying to work out in my head how im going to do the fender combination to get the right angles. I'm really excited also because i really hate the ISF hood and it should look lower and sexier with the x50 hood I will take pics of how i do the fenders step by step so that someone else with a measuring tape and a welding machine can do the same also.
