Default advice how to jack up car with skirts on?

im using a 2ton low profile jack and never had a problem with oem skirts. when i try to jack the car up with aftermarket skirts, it makes a really nasty sound and im afraid it will crack my skirts. im pretty slammed so i have to drive over a block of wood to get the jack under the car.

any advice? i hear people attach a block of wood on the jack for better clearance. i dont wanna go buy another jack and have the same problem... lol

thanks in advance

and yes, i did search...

Are you lifting the car from the skirts or from the "center" jack points

i lift on that part that sticks out with a hole in the middle. i guess that could be the jackpoint. not really sure. i saw diagrams of the jackpoints for the front and rears and have no idea how you even get the jack in that far to reach it...

I might not be as low as u, I only wanted a conservative drop I'm dropped 1.25 but I had the same issue. All I did was lay down a few 2x4's drive up on it then raised it a little w a scissor Jack then used my low profile Jack. Problem solved

yea. i thought about that... kina defeats the purpose of having a low profile jack in the first place lol. guess that's my only option right now.

thanks
