Default Removing Fog Lights

I have a 2008 IS350, I am going to tint the fog lights but I need to remove them to do a complete wrap.

Does anyone have a guide to removing the fog lights? I have found how to replace the bulb and upgrade to HIDs but can't seem to find where to just remove the unit itself.

I decided to tint them blue (going with my whole white and blue theme for the car)

The easiest way is to remove your bumper, and then unbolt the actual fog light itself from the bumper. Thats what I did when I got my overlays for my fogs

If you are just overlaying tint on the housings, why remove them from the bumper at all?

I dont know about the OP, but when I got my overlays, they were a little too big so I removed my fog light to make it fit

We want to wrap them around so it covers completly, also for when the car is being washed no water gets around the edges or under the tint.

The person helping me tints windows so I am going off his recommendations.

Well, just speaking from my experience with fog overlays. I had a 3M brand tint that was laser cut...and it too had overlapping all the way around. It wasn't alot though. And after stealing my wife's hairdryer and patience I had those overlays looking good and wrapped around all of the corners/edges. Since day 1, I've not have any issues with peeling or water seepage. But if you want to do it the in-depth way...be my guest.

We might try one with the lens on and in the bumper to see how it works out, both of us have never done fog lights before so kind of don' t know what to expect. So rather be safe than sorry. I bought extra tint though so if we screw up we can redo it.

It's really easy to remove the bumper. I would do that.
