Third member with IS300 Torsen LSD
Just got a used IS300 Torsen LSD installed with 4.1:1 FD. I would like to thank Jeff Lange for answering all the questions I had while shopping around for the components.
Took me a few weeks to get the right diff unit because the eBay seller sent me the wrong one first, and they had to check their inventory for the correct one.
The new gear set I ordered from Spencer at Weir Performance. I picked up the whole diff rebuild kit since I would be getting the diff set up with new gearing.
Paul at Lextech did the install and set up the diff for a really reasonable price.
Feels great and acceleration improved just a bit. Noticeable enough, but didn't impact mpg too much. Plan is to break it in his week, and then take it to the track this Sunday. Didn't take any pictures of the process, but you can check the other two threads by Jeff Lange and B16da9.

The LSD drove well. The tires weren't optimal, being stretched. I'm looking to get properly fitting tires when it comes time to replace. I ran in the beginner class, so there were some cars faster and some cars slower. My friends I went with drove e36 M3, 370Z, RX8. I was 4-7 sec slower than the 370z and only 2-3 sec slower than the RX8.
Here are some pics of the outing.
Overall a good day, although my buddy's M3 overheated during the 2nd to last session and it has to get some engine work done to replace a valve.
