It looks like fiberglass to me. I would rather get it fixed because I dont want to spend 600-800 dollars to buy another wald lip.

You can easily fix that, looks like its just regular fiberglass take it to any body shop. Or fix it yourself Fiberglass is easy to work with. They sell kits at autoparts stores, in the kits they have mesh weave I suggest you buy a roll of fiberglass matting. You can probably get away without having to repaint it too.
This is what I would do
1: Take off the lip
2: Clean the lip, and by hand join the back the broken parts
3. Grap duct tape and on the painted side where the crack is tape it up make sure the duct tape is holding the sides firmly together this is important.
4. Flip the lip and you will want to work from the inside of the crack so lightly scuff up 2-3" near the perimeter of the crack.
5. mix resin, then with a paint brush wet the crack and the 3" perimeter
6. Cut with scissor tiny strips of the fiberglass matting enough to cover the and the sides. Cut about 4-5 strips
7. Working one strip at a time, lay the strip then soak each one with the resin using the brush. It is important not to leave any bubbles between layers.
8. After you have reinforced the crack and crack perimeter let the resin do its magic and harden up.
9. After a few hours of hardening check to make sure the resin is rock hard. Then you can gentle peal the duct tape.
10. For the crack you can either take it to a body shop or grab some touch up paint and touch up the crack line.

Sorry bro but not an excuse, its reality. You guys go ahead and keep living in that dream world "gotta pay to play", "dont fake the funk" but again you spent how much ? $500 for the lip. $100 for paint.. and now another $300 to fix ? total $ spent $900 for something that cost them what to make? $150?
You guys always stand up for the manufacturer when in truth they dont care about you, they just want your money. Yea that Iphone most of you have? cost $64 to make, the people making it get paid $4/hour and have suicide nets around their homes because of the stress and poverty, but you guys paid $600 for it
Again, I have nothing against "authentic", my vertex sides are 100% authentic and so is the rear, but for a front lip with the height most of us drive, i'll say it again, IT'S A WASTE OF MONEY.
A rep cost $150+$100 to paint =$250 total.... and if it breaks guess what, another $250 and I got a BRAND new one, not fixed or patched up in 3 different places.

Amen. Haha another rep vs authentic thread Smh. Like I said in another thread some ppl don't have the money to just throw around and some that do don't even want to. It's nice to have the option of buying either or and you're 100% correct. These guys that praise these companies with their support of pay to play don't fake the funk don't buy fakes etc crack me up. You support them like they pay you or give your free products. If anything they'll give you a 10% coupon on your next purchase. Those companies don't care about nothin but your money. I've bought both authentic and rep products. Some things just aren't worth spending the extra cash on and some are.
