Need help install OEM DRL to Philips D4S DRL
Hi Guys. Hope i can get some help here.
I had no problem installing new Philips CrystalVision Halogen Bulbs to my High Beam 9005 and Low Beam H11. However I am having issues install my DRL. It doesn't seem as easy as the other where you just plug and play. The power connector to my Stock DRL Bulb is completely different from the one I had purchased. Below is the new Philip D4S that I had purchased and did my research saying it works for my 2011 IS 250.
But the problem is the power connector is completely different from my stock DRL. The connector as you can see in the picture is a circle shaped where as compared to my stock DRL , it's just 2 straight line. Did I purchased the wrong one and do I need some special add-on? Sorry if I'm not as detailed as possible.
Please let me know if you have any questions that would help solve this issue. Thanks again!

D4S is a low beam (HID) bulb. It works on ISx50s with OEM HIDs equipped. On a 2011, if you have the LED DRLs, then you have an HID bulb for your low beam.
The DRL, assuming, since you have the H11 halogens installed, is the same as the high beam lights. This is true for the non-LED DRL headlights. DRL and high beams operate on the same bulbs, but at lower and higher voltages, respectively.
Basically, you replaced both the high beam and the DRL with the 9005 bulb already. You replaced the low beam with an H11 already. There is no D4S in your car. If you used an H11 for your low beam, you do not need a D4S.
