I just checked my 2012 IS350C and the bubbling has started too, the car is 6.5 months and 11500 miles. The driver side is worse but you can see it on both sides. looks like a trip to the dealer is in order. I will wait on the latest fix however before I let them fix the problem as I have a full new car warranty.

I visited the dealer lot this morning to see if the new IS models with glossy headlamps have the bubbling issue. Sure enough, of the eight cars I saw half of them had the problem. I looked at the VIN numbers (I'm guessing the more recent built cars have higher VINs). There was no rhyme or reason... some of the older VINs have the bubbling and some of the newer VINs, too. What was interesting is the cars only had the bubbling on the driver's headlamp. Of course, these are brand-new cars so the bubbling may not yet have started on the passenger side.
All I know is Lexus has a big problem here because the TSB lights definitely did not address the bubbling issue. And I feel better knowing I am not the only one with this problem. I'll see what happens when I go to the dealer next week as the Lexus customer satisfaction rep said to do.

You have the older lights with the matte finish. All of those had the bubbling... that problem has been known for about a year. This thread is about the revised, TSB lights that have the 'eyebrows' and glossy finish. This was Lexus' answer to fixing the problem and it apparently did not work.

Yeah, you should hold off on getting the lights replaced because the TSB lights are defective, too. Hopefully Lexus fixes this soon!

I have the updated lights from Sewell and got them installed in March. This morning I noticed the driver side has a bubble close to the projector in the same location as in the first two photos in this thread. It's very interesting that this happened so soon because this year in western Washington, we haven't had many sunny days! I always garage my car except when I'm at work, but where I park my car at work, the driver side of the car may sometimes get exposed to direct sun light, and it makes sense to me why I have the bubble on the driver side only.

The more people that call Lexus customer satisfaction, the sooner they'll realize the TSB headlamps are flawed and the sooner we'll get a fix.

Just bought a 2012 Is 3 weeks ago and looked to see if mine has this problem after reading the posts. To my surprise it does have a small bubble underneath the projector on the driver's side. I will show the dealer the next time I bring it in for service.
