Did I get PUNK'D by the Lexus dealership???
I bought my car at dealership A and took it to dealership B for my 32k km (20k mi) service last month because it's closer to where I live. Today the weather is finally nice enough for a thorough car wash and I noticed something odd.
The rear license plate frame is still the one that came with the car (dealership A), but the front has been replaced without my knowledge. Worse, it is a bloody AUDI frame!!!
OpenRoad Auto Group owns Audi, BMW, Honda, Hyundai, Lexus, Mazda, Mini, Scion, and Toyota dealerships. I wouldn't have minded if they put their Lexus frame on (to mark their turf?), but to pop on an Audi one without telling me?
Did I get PUNK'D by one of their service techs???
The only other explanation is back in Nov 2010 I had a minor accident & had to replace the front bumper. I took it to a bodyshop that is also owned by OpenRoad. You can see from the pic that the frame does look a bit weathered (but the bolts & washers look brand new). But it's highly unlikely that I did not notice the Audi frame for 1.5 years.

Sounds like possibly deaership B messed it up and possibly or broke the original.
See if you can contact Open Road Lexus Richmond or Port Moody and tell them the service dealership messed up and you want to get the Open Road Frame Lexus Frame.
The other option is that you could remove all Open Road references and get a custom frame.
Or you could just off the front plate completely like what I did. (Richmond Ikea in the background)
- Ice Iridium's pic with both his and mine since he modified his IS-F with the 2012 lights and 100% brightness.

Thanks all. I actually found that funny & it's no big deal like some said. I'm just hoping I wasn't an idiot & didn't notice it for 1.5 years if it's the bodyshop that put that on instead of the dealership techs.

BTW where I live it is illegal not having a front plate. I have gotten a ticket before with my previous ride. Some people remove it & put it on the dashboard but I'm not sure if that's 100% legal either.
