navi heat radio and ac not working
Hello all i am new hear and need some serious help. i tapped into my rear stock amp to add on a subwoofer via a hi-lo converter. i spliced into the first plug with power and ground and accidentally touched the power to the amp and blew the rad1 30 amp fuse. i changed it and checked all the fuses and got power back to the amp but now nothing up front turns on at all. i have no heat defog navi, nothing. any advice or maybe im missing a fuse somehwere, thank.

talked to a lexus tech near where i work, he said he cant see the hu blowing out, because everything else should work, he believes 99 percent that its my fusible link located next to the battery fuseblock, i had everything disconnected in the car and power off at the time. oh god i hope hes right and your wrong lol. im gonna hopefully get to it this weekend and see. i had the power disconnected i put it back on to test my hi-lo and it worked when i went to put it down i had a little splice or power wire sticking out and it touched the amp.

well i got the wiring schematic and traced every thing that was out to the fuse block 7.5 acc fuse. the fuse tested good, but still wasn't getting power. so i said let me try to take the fuse block apart and see if somethings not making contact. whoa and behold, the plastic somehow melted onto the connection. i scraped it off put the fuse back in, and holy **** she lives, lol. the fuse wasnt making contact to the terminal but now for 1.25 cents and some detective work i am back in action.

yes sir im an old school system guy and this really bummed me out. lexus wanted 300 bucks to diagnose it and said it could be a module that cost 4100 lol. i said oh heck no. i couldnt even fathom this causing that much damage for shorting a power source coming out not going in. they would of got me good too lol. well the system is running 2 L7 kicker subs and a 1000 watt kicker amp ported thru the armrest now and is finally oozing the bass lol. next im gonna replace the tweeters and the mids and call it a day. oh and this is after i pull the battery cable lol.
