This happened to me before. The dealership kept dragging their feet and giving me the run-around. Good luck.

Some of you guys act all "big and bad" and say what you "demand" out of the dealership.....smh
Sometimes a little niceness comes off better than being an DB about the situation. Sure it's the dealerships fault, but it is a billion dollar company against you, being cordial on both ends will most of time get you acceptable results.

True, you have a good point. Of crouse it's going to be a nice mutual start at best. There are times the dealership does not admit and then pushes back at you, I guess that would be where the big and bad would eventually come in if you get what I mean.

A wheel repair shop can buff it out and then put some clear on it and it will look brand new. GL

You can have a mobile service come and fix it.

I agree. I am a pretty laid back person that normally doesn't say anything. This time I had to though. I just want them to fix it and I would be happy.

This happened to me at a Lexus dealership. I noticed it when I got home. Since the car was brand new and only 4 weeks old I got lucky and they fixed it. It was a gouge much deeper than yours. It should be easy to take care IF they agree to repair it.

This is a easy fix. Should take less than 30 minutes...No way will the dealership buy a brand new wheel with such minor damages...

My wheel got cracked running over a pothole and so I took it in to get it fixed. They fixed the crack and all the curb rash around it for about $175. I expect the dealer will fix this for you since there doesn't appear to be doubt about how it happened, I just wouldn't expect a new wheel. They'll have it refinished and it will look brand new.
