Default Dealership curbed a wheel

Dealership curbed one of my wheels to hell! Didn't leave untell the service manager saw and took pictures. Said he would call me tomorrow. I told him that it needed to get fixed and this is unexcatable. Guess we will see what happens tomorrow.

inexcusable, but doesn't look as bad as you're making it out to be ("curbed to hell" is a stretch). definitely fixable.

If it were me, I would probably be furious and tell him to just get me a new wheel!

I don't see them spending 1k on a new wheel.

True, but sometimes one must pay the price of doing a mistake and mistakes can be costly.

I had the dealership replace my cluster bezel, and steering wheel trim a few times. They were sort of complaining to say it me it was not covered by Lexus and the dealership had to pay for it. To me... I didn't care... they ruined it, they pay for it and I had escalated to corporate to have them aware too.

If he had scratched one of their wheels on a test drive I am sure he would be buying that car or buying a new rim. So why shouldn't they get him a new rim. Even it's a thousand bucks. It's only right

I always point out to the service writer that there isn't a single scratch on my wheels when I bring my car in, just in case they're damaged when I pick the car up and they try to deny they did anything. They curbed my OEM wheels and unfortunately, I didn't notice it until I got home.

Wow definitely make sure they get you a new rim...the dealership is responsible for that...and if they decide to fix it.....make sure it's a repair shop of ur own and get some kind of damage warranty for it....bottom line...LET THEM LEARN FROM THEIR MISTAKE

They probably have a wheel repair shop they can take it to. I think they put metal weld on the rash and mold/shape it and refinish the lip. Its not too bad, I don't think you will get a new wheel for it thou.

I'd have to say I would not be happy with a "fixed" wheel. Yet, not sure if they would replace the wheel. It's why I try to avoid anyone else having posession of my car. Hard to avoid all the time though.
