Meh, for the price it is good. You want the best you're gonna pay $220 at minimum. And I suggest the best.
The 350 does get scolding hot. Like having bluetooth, GPS, 3G, and wifi all turned on your phone and using all of them at once. IT gets that hot. And I have heard/read of them failing especially in hot summers.
This. I can't stress this enough. You want to be able to see the license plates AT MINIMUM. No point in buying a camera that won't shoot in at least 720p. At night you'll want 1080p. But these are my opinions from my study and use.
^This. But most of my friends have crapples. They really have no idea what they're missing with an Android phone but that's another discussion for another thread.

This guy also has a pretty good review and sample vid: http://www.radardetectorforum.org/ca...am-review.html
Waiting for the day they make these a factory option or required for all cars. Don't want to go down the legal part of that, but I think the benefits outweigh the negatives.

Instead of attaching it to the windshield, is it not recommended to have it sitting on the dash? Or will I get mostly the hood on cam?
It's like leaving the suction cup mark on your windshield when you remove the GPS. I don't want to announce to everyone walking by that I have something in my car.

I like the wider angle lens of the ITB.
P.S. Sorry, I accidentally clicked "edit" on your post instead of "quote". I didn't change anything though. Just wasn't paying attention when I was replying, lulz.
