Default Windshield Wipers?

I just recently bought RainX wipers and I tried to install it myself at home but I couldn't do it. I took it back to the store and asked them if they could put it on for me but the rude manager told me that it doesn't fit but I bought the exact blades. 20 and 22. Do anyone here knows how to replace the windshield wipers? Thank you

Don't replace the wiper arm.

Put your OEM one back on and replace the wiper insert. They are like $7-ish each!

Correct.

The old ones slide out - you swap the metal rails to the new inserts - and slide the new ones in

I glanced as my mechanic swapped mine out. Don't take my word for it, but i vaguely remember him pulling a latch down to release the existing insert. At that point it was loosened and he could just remove it.

Nope, no guide, and don't need to open the blade. The insert goes in one way and uninstalling is done the same way but reverse.

The insert itself has a little notch so it should be easy to pull the insert out. If the insert is not sliding out, it is probably being done on the incorrect end, try the other end.
