I think it'd look cool if it was tied to your puddle lights. I don't know if I'd want to keep it on all the time, but to glow when I'm near? Possibly awesome.

I don't think anything like this would be illegal, especially considering some cars like the new xB RS9.0 comes with emblems that are illuminated in basically exactly the same way.

Still somewhat tacky though, in my opinion.

I would probably have them on a switch so you can turn them on and off. Not too sure if they would be legal down here in FL (I'm sure they're not) , but I've seen a lot more crazy stuff on the road and people aren't getting pulled over. Looks like a good item for a show car maybe.
