Just installed my Sewell LED interior and the map/dome light in the front seems to turn off immediately after i close the driver side door while the back one stays on.

My friend's IS's front dome lights that are stock remains on for a period after the driver door is closed.

Is this normal or did I mess up somewhere installing the bulbs?

I've tried searching but cannot find the answer anywhere

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Try reinstalling the bulbs.

I have JLC Lighting LEDs and both map and dome go on and off at the same time - should not be a difference.

One bulb in the front and one in the rear is suppose to stay on another 15? seconds by default. That's how mine was before and after the LED install. Don't know how an LED install could gone wrong.

Maybe there is problem with the bulbs? try to switch them and see what happened?

Assuming you have a front dome with 3 bulb slots, the middle bulb is supposed to remain on for a few seconds. Double check to make sure that center bulb is installed properly, and maybe swap positions to determine if that LED is bad.
