Don't know about your insurance, but my State Farm let's me decide to receive the check and fix it myself or take it into a shop. I rather take the check, fix it myself and pocket the rest of the $$$$. But if there are frame damages then, that would suck. You would have to get your frame pulled or somethings.

Ok as requested I went out (-20C or -4F for you americans lol) to snap a few pics, my car is really dirty so don't mind the floors. I ran the wire through the ceiling liner, into the A pillar, into the side panel beside the glove box and you can only see it again by the cigg lighter, not the best so I hope you guys didn't expect a lot lol, I'm ok with this as I barely notice it, I guess if you were picky you can say that compartment can't close now.

Here's it closed, I don't really notice it while driving.

When the door is closed you can't see that wire. It runs from the A pillar into the glove box side panel here.

It comes out here, I guess this part is what's showing the most, depends how picky you are lol.

Lmao, the front headlight housing replacement was $1K, front passenger rim was $850, that's like 2 grand, OEM/lexus stealer rates are like that lol.

The total repairs were around 9K + 3-4K in rental fees, so around 12-13 grand is what my ins. paid out.

Thank you for the pictures! One more question, how did you run the wire down the A pillar? Did you remove the A pillar? I read somewhere on CL not to remove them because of the airbags.

Honestly that I did not know? I guess if it's bad..then my F passenger won't have a curtain air bag?
Lol but yeah it's real easy just pop the bad boy out, think there's just a few clips, I didn't even take the whole thing off, just pulled it out a bit so I can run a wire through there.

Is this the same one purchased by the OP?

How does this one compare to the one purchased by 149MAX? Seems like this one has more reviews.
