Default VHT Nightshades vs Professional

I wasn't happy with the VHT Nightshades paint I put on my tails, so I had a professional body shop take off the Nightshades and paint them. Here are the results - I'm much happier with the outcome.

Hopefully this will help anyone else who is considering Nightshades.

Edit: I know, I know... paint the reflectors... I'm getting to it

They both look good, and the same. Maybe I can't see the difference in just a pic. Anyway, when you did your VHT, did u wet sand then polish them after? That is basically the same as any pro would do. I did mine and they look better then what a friend had professionally done?

If you look closely, the VHT is like matte and not as dark as the paint. Looks a lot better painted

I'm also curious to hear if the OP wet sanded the VHT nightshade coating. That should get you the glossy look if that's your aim.
