Not sure myself, but mine (single slot, w/2 switches) are not illuminated which ticks me off to no end. I think the separates are lit?

I have separates and can confirm they are lit.

You guys are correct. The 2006 model year cars had the stacked non-illuminated switches. In 2007, they moved to separate illuminated ones.

I have an 07, and they are seperate, but they do not illuminate. Are they suppose to??!

Edit: Scratch that, I'm dumb. They do light up, just in a light ugly green color which is why I didn't really notice. haha. Plus the fact that they turn off when the car is off, the only time when you would need to use either of those buttons, that doesn't really help. Not nice. haha

Pop off the panel to the left side of your dash (you have to open your driver's side door to get to it). After that just pop out the blank from behind.

Anyone tried Toyota switches, it is suppose to be the same size but I have never tried it. The description said recommended mounting hole: .830" x 1.450''.

I'll try and get a pic of my toggle switch for my rear view camera hack... It's hiddle ABOVE the switches you all are mentioning. About the 3 blank panles area under that notch in that section of the dash. So it's hidden from anyones view.
