Default HELP! my is350 wont start

When I push the starter button the starter just clicks really loud. The battery doesnt seem to be dead because the lights are full brightness and the AC turns on. I was adjusting the headlights with them on, do think this had anything do with it not starting. I only had the lights on for maybe 5 minutes tops without the engine on. I tried starting it right after that and it started clicking and check VSC light comes on and brake pedal locks up.

I wonder if it's the starter? HMMMM??? I would have thought the battery but you say lights and A/C turn on.

I got same issue few months ago too...all lights and radio are on but starter just click and click. I replaced the battery and it resolved the issue. When was the last time you replace the battery? If it's more than 3-4yrs then it's time.

^ +1.. Most likely it is the battery. Few months ago I was taking off my Navtool and DVD player and decided to turn on the radio while reassembling the parts. A jump start fixed the problem. Battery still going strong 50k miles/3.5 years though.

It's probably the battery. Sounds like what happened to my buddy.

Try jumping it and it that works you can drive to an Advance auto (or similar) and they can test the battery there for you.

Ahhh it's my turn with this. Hopefully it's just the battery like everyone says. Not no timing chain issue or starter.
