Default Looking into getting a 2IS

Helping a friend of mine look at some 07-08 is250's.

Any issues or checks I should look for besides the general maintenance records?

Thanks in advance!

Tell 'um if he can afford the extra fuel consumption of the 350 to go for a 350 instead!

I also highly recommend the 350 over the 250 if you value performance at all. And I can tell you that as an owner of a 350 who has driven his share of 250 loaners, the fuel consumption difference between the two is almost negligible, and will come down to driving style. Aside from fuel consumption, the only other factor you need to consider between the two cars is price, and I personally was willing to go back in years and up in mileage to get a 350 for the right price over a 250.
