Default 6-speed manual swap

Hey guys, I'm kinda new to this forum although I've had my 09 is250 for about 5 months. It's a 6-speed auto and I was thinking about making it into a 6-speed manual. Any ideas how much that would be and where I could get the parts for that?

Thanks!

Don't think that would be easy at all and don't think it's ever been done! Probably not worth it either.

^^^agree. Should have just gotten a 6mt to begin with. Only time I would consider swapping an auto transmission in place for a manual one is if there was a 2JZ in front of it.

The manual 2IS transmission isn't all the great (it came from a truck after all). Totally not worth the trouble.

When I bought my car, the manual was a good 3k cheaper than its auto equivalent. You'd be better off trading your car than doing the swap yourself

Originally I wanted a IS 250 with manual six speed. Not easily swayed, I was easily swayed by the negative opinions on the manual transmission and the positive opinions on the IS 350 vs the IS 250. The auto transmission is effortless, enjoy the ride.
