My 11' loaner does it and its so cool! I saw the thread from 2009 about it being only on 09 up but has anyone come up w/ a fix since?! I knew I should have went w/ the 09 350 instead of the 2008... dang it!

Haven't heard of one, but no worries you wouldn't use it much. I never did.

I use it from time to time to downshift and overtake.

Still a little cool and nifty but also expect from paddle shift vehicles.

I found it strange ( & annoying) that you can downshift into 5 with the paddles, but when going to Sport shift mode via the shifter, the default gear is 4 -- even though I was in 6 at the time 'cuz I was in AT mode.

I'll have to see if I'm below 4 in AT, what gear I endup in when I go to sportshift...

It will always put you in 4 even if you're stopped at a light. What I like most about shifting while in D is that it will kick you into whatever gear is right below the one you're currently in. S mode is lame and always lands you in 4th regardless...which is exactly why I want my car to paddle in D but I'm hearing it is not possible on the 2008 model
