Default Looking at a 2008 IS250

So I've been looking at ISs then came across a 2008 black on black IS250 AWD at my dealer who we've been buying cars since like 97. They are asking 11,800, but could probably get it down a little more, and I have a $250 credit at the dealer towards a new vehicle. It has a clean carfax, 2 owner, full dealer service history but needs the AC compressor and new brakes all around (I'd do the brakes myself). It has 68k miles, navigation, backup camera, full dealer service history, and has new Bridgestone Potenzas (on aftermarket wheels but I'll replace with my G-spider wheels). The recalls have all been done, water pump has been replaced and the carbon buildup recall was done. I think it's a great deal, even after I pay the $1,500 for the AC, but I was wondering what others were thinking? I've read the stickies for what to look for when buying, and drove it a decent amount, this thing was vibration free even at 90, something I doubted with the aftermarket wheels, but I was just looking for any input. Just a heads up, the car had been traded in that day so they hadn't even cleaned it yet, but that'll be done before delivery. I looked at having the compressor being replaced elsewhere, but in the end it was only the difference of a few hundred here or there versus the dealer.

Yeah, only things I didn't see were a power steering wheel and Mark Levinson. Even so, KBB and NADA have it retailing for anywhere from 16-18k

Sounds like a smoking good deal. I got a cash offer on my 08 IS2 AWD GFM with 68k for $16,500 and I don't have NAV & ML, or any thing (basic)

So with a new A/C compressor, clutch, and recharge, and after NYS sales tax, got the car for under $14,200 which I think is a pretty solid deal for a car from the Lexus main dealer with full service history. Thanks for the input.

That's a pretty darn good deal. I'm currently on the lookout for a 2nd gen IS and if I were in NY, I would have purchased that car!

Having an AWD is honestly hit and miss with vibration or wobble. Some folks on here have stock awd with serious vibrations and some have lowered their's to kiss the ground and they have none. My AWD had a tiny tiny bit of vibration here and there stock, but now vibrates on inclines a bit because of my lowered setup.

You seem to have found one without as you said... sounds like a golden ticket to me!
