Default IS250 Lease transfer - possible?

Hello!
Here's my issue. I'm currently leasing 2008 IS250 MT (no navi in Virginia). I went in for a 5k service to the dealer and while waiting, saw a 2008 IS250 MT WITH navigation on display floor. It's the same dealer where I'm leasing my current 250 from. I inquired with the salesman and the dealer was trying to unload this car with a good deal since they are trying to sell off 08s in a hurry. Is it any way possible for me to switch the lease from my current IS250 MT with no navi to the IS250 MT with navigation? Please note that both cars are 2008 models. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I don't know if that's possible. If it is, you can bet the dealer is gonna make some $$ and you're going to lose $$$. I would try the leasetrader sites and try to swap your lease that way.

You can't do that--you are leasing that specific car. Bst you can do is find someone to take over your current lease.

If you had 6 months or so left on your lease, you might get the dealer to agree to buy out your current lease.

It sounds like a lot of hassle for a navi. Just stick with what you have.

yea man when leasing.. paying an extra 100 bucks for navi or 50 bucks is like 10x what you would pay for a garmin or tomtom.. i have a tomtom that cost me 99$ from woot.com and i love it.. havent had any issues, and hacked it to work like a 300$ navi.. lol

not to mention you can put it in another car when needed.

I dont think its worth the hassle to try and get rid of your car for the navi. The stock nav looks good but a portable navi is just as good and a heck of a lot cheaper.
