Got myself a cheap reminder for while I'm sitting inside away from my car...

It's too bad it's an 07!

How do you like the manual as far as shift feel & quality? How does it compare to your 2009 Matrix (assuming it was a manual)? I drive a 2005 Matrix and I think the shifter isn't so great...

I had a 2009 Corolla XRS (same engine/trans as the Matrix XRS). The shifter felt pretty good. I had a TRD Quickshifter in the XRS, but it felt pretty decent either way. The previous generation (2003-2008) shifter did not feel that great, in my opinion. As for the IS250's shifter, it's acceptable. I don't hate it, but I don't think it's really awesome. Once the F-Sport Quickshifter is in, that should help I think. The nicest thing going from the XRS to the IS250 was being able to feel the transmission in the shifter. That's a nice feeling.

Car looks good, bud. I'm jealous of your bluetooth integration. I get the dead button instead. Black out those winters though asap!

The F-Sport shifter makes a world of difference. Shoot me a PM if you want to feel the difference in town here (after this winter blitz clears up lol). I put mine is last summer and I couldn't believe how much better it felt.

The winters are winters. I will do nothing to them, and will feel good about it, haha. As for the shifter: YES! I want to feel it! We need to make that happen.

[Probably order it later that same day... ]

The one where I put them in myself, lol. There will be many more changes to come to make it the package I want.
