Powder Coated Rims
Well my rims were curb rashed like crazy and the paint was starting to chip off on my 18" ISP rims and I figured it was time for a new set of rims. When I went to look for rims I soon realized it was gonna cost me atleast $400 per rims because I have expensive taste. And my tire dealer told me id have to buy 4 more TMPS to fit another 18" rim at $150 each (Im sure hes B.S.ing me) So all that including installation was looking like way too much money.
Considering I still really like the way my ISP rims (one of the reasons I chose my current IS250 over others) I thought about repairing them. So i went over to one of the powder coaters in town and he said he could sandblast it and powdercoat it for $350 cash. So ofcourse I said sure.
Heres a few pics on how they turned out. Just wanted to let people know before they buy new rims maybe consider getting their old ones redone because itll cost you less than the cost of one new rim. Im quite happy with the way mine turned out.

ok. so were these powder coated or painted? you state in your title that it is powder coated but then you say you got them repaired and painted. which one is it? if you got em powder coated, that's a great price! looks great too!
