Engine Number on Lexus IS250
Hey guys does anyone know how or where to find the engine number on a 2007 Lexus IS250?
I have been looking anywhere and cant find it.
It also cannot find it on any documentation like title etc. All I see/have is the VIN number.
The car was bought in the USA and my country requires the engine number for it to be licensed, insured etc
Can someone assist me please.
Thanks.

Hey nope I mean like number for example the engine number for a 2010 Accord is R20A33010053.
The engine number I believe is a unique number and it always begins with a letter apparently.

Lextuners it does help a lot! Thanks.
The biggest question is how easy is it to see a number which is on the engine block.
Hell why do they even need the engine number, this is ridiculous.

To make sure it is what it is.
On my Trans Am, the person who wrote up my insurance policy described it as a Firebird (even though it was a Firebird base but was sold as an altered Canadian Trans Am - long story).
When the fender got hit and I went to tell my insurance, they said I did not have insurance on the car because I had a TRANS AM and they covered a Firebird (which has different body panels) and they put up a fight. Luckily for me all the proper ID numbers were in place.
Needless to say they canceled that policy shortly afterwards and wanted me to start a new one with the proper wording....and a higher premium, due to the fact that I was paying insurance on a regular Firebird.
