For those of you who did the rear bumper GFX, did you do the install yourself, or did you have it done at the dealer or a third party shop? I bought the GFX sides from Sewell with their killer deal going on for SGM pre-painted ones right now, but I haven't made up my mind about doing the rear. I may do a 2011+ F Sport front end conversion at some point down the line, or go the route of the OE 2006-2010 front GFX lip. Either way, I have no plans to do 2012 LED DRL headlights, as I really like my AFS on winding roads. Any input is much appreciated.

no offense to you personally, but i dont get guys that get an IS250 and spend about the same/more money on cosmetic parts vs starting out with an IS350. I had an IS250 first but I didnt go further than some gfx parts. New wheels, alone, on IS250s make me wonder how that happens...lets not get started on people debadging... apparently only IS250 drivers like the "clean look". You didn't go too crazy or anything but to me...
overkitted IS250 owners = bad at math.

Your aware that the only main difference between the 250 and 350 are the engine and brakes right? The body is the same. Pretty sure there are tons of 250 and 350 owners that look clean, aggresive, etc.

Great pic and you know I love your car. I also have to say I love that I'm not the only one who has posted a pic of the IS where you can see the reflection of the wash bucket and hose pipe! Can't help it that the first instinct is to snap a pic once you get her cleaned up! I do it all the time....
Got "decent" pics of mine today and will be posting them shortly. Gonna be a bit of a double dip because I want to post them here and also have to update my "next mod" thread with some of the same pics. Oh well.

And you think posting the same pic in two different threads is bad? You should see some of the attention *****s on here that post their picture is every single related thread
Im guilty of doing it too tho

Okay, here we go. For the record, I have GFX front and rear but no sides. I know they are cheap right now but still haven't convinced myself that they are noticeable enough to be worth it. As for the question on page 1, I installed both myself. I found the front to be quite easy but the rear was considerably more difficult. To be honest, the biggest problem I had was finding the marks that I was supposed to drill from. There was so much dirt and soot, not to mention that some of them were very lightly marked to begin with. I think I spent about a half an hour just trying to confirm my marks. Getting the bumper cover off was the easiest part of the entire job. I did find that tucking the fender liner when putting it back together was a little bit difficult because of the two trim pieces that you add between the GFX and the OE cover. As for cutting the OE exhaust ports out, I found that my Dremel was the perfect tool for the job. Hope you guys and gals like the pics.....
