Here is the old 'card trick' to paint wheels...
Just buy a set of playing cards and fan them around the wheel on a 45d angle between the rim itself and the tyre...over-lapping the cards a tiny bit so they dont have any gaps...
Here is how the procedure went and the end product on my Jeep Patriot...

Anyone know if spray painting with color matched spray paint or any color over the plastidip square and peeling off the excess will work? Can you still peel it fine if spray paint is on top?

dont use plasti dip... **** is junk, it looks like **** after a couple months and there are so many other cheap mods that can be done to make your car look a million times better.
Just my two cents.. coming from a kid who plasti dipped the **** out of his car and now regrets it.. removal process isnt the worst but still a hassle.
trust me.. im on a tight budget too

Plasti dipped a set of my old wheels because the chrome was flaking, won't use it on anything else though. If you don't like the chrome emblems, spend the money and get the black pearl ones, trust me. So much more quality. So good.

if your on a tight budget i wouldnt since they can be pretty pricey this is why people do this honestly for me if the plasti dip starts looking like crap after 6 months (which for me it has not) for a 6 dollar can and supplies i have laying around i do not mind re painting every few months. but then again we all have our opinons, kudos to you if you purchased the pearl black emblems they probably look great!

seems like a cool and cheap mod at first but months down the road it does look like crap. Some people take plasti dip too far by doing their wheels, hoods etc. Now they even have ppl that are "certified" to plasti dip your whole car smh
