Double sided 3M acrylic tape & that spoiler will NEVER fly off. In-fact, itll be tough to even try to take it back off. Don't use the "pre-taped" tape that comes with the spoiler(if it even has it), get the 3M acrylic off E-BAY. Good Luck!

Whenever I have needed to remove adhesive there is some stuff called Goof Off that works pretty good for this. A local parts house turned me on to it. They use it to remove decals off their parts runner trucks when they get ready to get rid of them. Walmart and Home Depot has this.

I recently put the rear spoiler on with the 3M VHB and the ends are starting to come up just a little. I didn't drill any holes and thinking of doing so because of Canadian harsh winters. It feels solid in the middle but I don't want to take any chances and wiggle it around to check the strength because it might lose some of it.
I would recommend just drilling it and never have to worry about it. I mean if you bought this rear lip spoiler there shouldn't be a reason why you're taking it off.
Eh, I guess whatever makes you sleep peacefully at night. I know I would after drilling it and knowing that it's on solid. I do have a fear of it just flying off and hitting someone behind me on the highway >.<

Gents,
Noone mentioned anything about 3-rt stop light. Once I called Lexus Dealer, they told me that the OEM spoiler comes with new 3-rt stop light . I assume that reason is that the current light would be covered by a spoiler.
Should I bother? Or simple I can forget about what dealers said and go for eBay one?
Regards,
Jakub

Is it hard to completely remove the piece after using the 3m acrylic tape?

hi guys.
I just received my spoiler from sewell too.
some of you are saying just use 3m tapes....but it already comes with screws attached to the spoiler.
did you guys removed the screws? how do you remove them?
I hate to drill holes.
