You mean faster? I would hope a 400 HP v8 is faster than a 300 HP v6. You would be right, the M5 is faster, but that doesn't mean it's going to win 100% of the time against an IS350, because the numbers are closer than you might think.

You would say - yes, even the 2002 M5 is faster than an IS350, but it's close enough to be a driver's race. I'd say the M5 would probably win 60% of the time against an IS350. The videos you saw were part of the other "40%"
You also have to take into account those carbon build up issues that GSteg mentioned.

Thanks guys. I go to school in CA but I live in TX. This is actually my dad's CL account, he's got an LS460, but he doesn't really use the forums anymore plus I'm too lazy to make a new account
