Airbag Light On Help
Hey guys i was trying to install an aftermarket system on my 250. Everything went well but after i started the car my airbag light is constantly lit in the bottom right corner in my speedometer cluster. I took it to the dealer to do a O point calibration but its still on. I know its not in a problem in the airbag system because I read somewhere it happens if you remove the audio unit without disconnecting the battery, in which i dint disconnect the battery.
I tried reseting the ecu buy disconnecting the negative but it is still on. Is there any other way to reset the ecu?. How do you do the fuse reset. What fuse do you pull in the engine bay fuse box?

Thats happened to me when i did oem navi swap. I thought it was the unit and so i returned it, but hearing you also have the same problem could be something else.
Try this, on the flyaudio unit disconnect the connector that goes to the flyaudio airbag light/clock unit and plug just that to your original unit. and see if your airbag light goes off.
If that does not work...
Instead of removing the fuse, disconnect the battery and leave it disconnected for 30 min or so. This should give it sufficient time for the caps in the airbag ecu to power down. I believe the fuse you have unplugged earlier is only the car ecu and not the airbag's ecu. See if that works.
The dealership did not tell you the main cause of the light? Since they had their scan tool plugged in?
