Default side skirt hardware (plastic clips)

So, when I had my car worked on, the body shop did not put on the fasteners which secure the side skirts to the bottom of the car.

I did not know what these looked like, but they are those plastic clips that lock in when you press on the top (similar to what is used to secure the plastic pieces under the hood).

I went to the dealer to get an oil filter, so I figured I'd pick up some of these too... they wanted $6 each! Considering I need 14 of them, that is just crazy, LOL

so I went to the local Kragen figuring they'd have em, but they did not. I don't feel like driving to many different stores to find similar clips. Anyone know where to get these from for a reasonable price?

OK, for other people's future reference, the part # for this clip is:

75867-30120

You can order a pack of 15 from this website called clipsandfasteners.com for only $12.30. I'm sure I could have found it cheaper, but whatever, much better than $6 per clip...what a joke.

Is it too much to ask the body shop to replace the fasteners for you?

^not really, but I'm sick of dealing with them. It's a long story but I had to bring my car back to them for a 3rd time before being even remotely close to satisfied, and honestly I'm just sick of dealing with them and would rather pay $12 then call them again.

Are these important to hold it on? Aren't there screws that also hold it on? When changing my front lip, I broke the plastic clips and just have it held on with the 6 screws and is fine.

Well, there is double sided tape and then screws in the wheel well. However, these clips prevent movement of the side skirts.

Generally they don't just add fasteners for the heck of it, so I would say yes, they are required.

On a completely separate note, I think your avatar picture is freaking awesome.

^^+1 LOL

Are the screws only on the end and then the fasteners are on the middle section of the skirt?

Thanks, I busted up laughing when I saw that avatar so felt the need to share it with you all.

Yeah, I checked the parts diagram and it shows screws on the end and plastic clips along the bottom... also there is double sided tape along the top edge too.

^^I would say it's essential since any extra parts add cost (both material and labor), so they wouldn't have them on the car if they didn't feel they were essential.
