I would just leave them in and drive a little higher than you are on your coils. Problems with removing the front liners at least on most cars will be a extremely dirty engine bay all the time.
It's a mix of coilovers and a bag over coil (being made of aluminum has less give for consistency which you want with coilovers). Anyhow they can be setup one of two ways; static ride height with the aircups decompressed or static ride height compressed. Depending on which way you set them up it will allow you to either raise or lower the car an 1" (or whatever length stroke the aircup is).
Did anyone put dynomat inside the trunk to lessen the compressor noise?
Between the road noise and music you wont even hear them. I have dual 444c in my cars and on the road I can't even hear them kick on. So no deadening here
