Coming back to the Lexus forum - 08 IS250 - Good Deal?
Coming back ladies and gents. I personally had an 06 IS350 in 06, dumped it for a beemer..dumped that for a benz..which I have. My GF loved the IS when I had it sooo much..we had to go hustle out a deal for a leftover 08. Let me know if this is good.
08 IS250AWD
Black Leather
Sunroof
HIDS
and all the other standard crap except nav. TAXES in payment at $436month. 1100 or so out of pocket for bank fee, dmv and plates.
Thoughts?
ps. I most likely will mod the car for her..nothing stock in my stable. Prob stick with the F parts to keep it close to factory since she drives into the city alot.

Me too...
I had an 07 IS350 - dumped it when I found out we were having another baby, thought about getting a highlander, or a CRV - but man, I missed my IS sooo much - no other cars came close, I looked at the 3-series, C-class - nope. So I went back for an 08 IS250 w/Nav two weeks ago...and
Back to you - I think that's a VERY good deal if it's for 36 months/12,000 miles - 48 months, meh, it's still in the good deal zone. I did $0 down and baaaarely stayed in the $400's - so $1100 & 436 a month is awesome - this is a lease right? If it's a purchase

Try it
It never hurts to try - you can kind of tell when they don't have wiggle room left - $11 less is $396 more of a discount on the car - if they start fighting you over such a small amount, you're definitely in their hurt zone and maybe it's time to take the deal.

Right...$400 a month..so I can wiggle a tad more off of the $436. Was her's AWD? Did it have the HID's and heated/cooled seats?
What was your out of pocket with that $400?

I just got an 08 is250 rwd with premium package last week. Leased for 48 months, 12000 miles, $1000 down and am at $400 a month with tax. So for an awd seems like you are getting a pretty good deal. I worked the dealership as much as possible and they shouted the deal out to me as a last ditch effort as i walked out the door. Good luck

I leased an 08 AWD prem, luxory, nav, plus some other options. List $42K selling price $37K. $3500 down $434/mo plus tax. 3 years 12K/ year. 55% residual.
There was about $4000 in money available to the dealer in Sept.
